As most of us probably know, they are in a lot of debt and would probably sell any players should a decent offer come in.

Is there any players at Cardiff who you think would be good at Leicester? Let us know, also if you want give us a rough estimate of what you think the player is worth.

EDIT: Think I've posted this in the wrong place, please move it if I have, sorry.

obviously would love Whittingham. Would personally try him, Waghorn, Spearing/Pratley and a left sided CB. Would make us arguably the strongest team in the league imo. May sound a bit OTT but would be quite a statement!!

Chris Burke is good, seem him play a few times and rate him quite highly. Also young Gerrard is good too. But they don't have to sell and will not sell their best players - in fact the debt isn't that bad, they are thinking about bringing in Bellamy.

Well for a start, King isn't Welsh.

Fuck it, i don't even know where to start with that post.

I'd take Whittingham but that's about it. I wouldn't take Chopra as I believe he'd be a disruptive influence in the dressing room.

On Whittingham, the new investment coupled with Forest seemingly blowing a deal that was all but done by making it public might even give us half a chance of pulling it off.

Absolutely no speculation or anything linking us to him so it's all conjecture.

Since when has that stopped anyone posting drivel? :D

I think Whittingham would fit well into the way we seem to be going style wise. Good passer, and eye for goal and pretty direct........ yes please.

With bellamy signing chopra might go for a sum of 1.5 to 2 mill, yes he is a herbal tea bag, but he hits the onion bag! bring him in! Prately could be interesting! But I'd love whittingham! Best left foot in the league!

He seems to bang them in at this level! But he would never join us! Ever! I'd go for whittingham! He'd cost a bit but worth it! I know I've contradicted my earlier post on chopra, in other words I'd like him here but he'd never join us!

I wouldn't want Whittingham here tbh, the bastard moved that free kick to a more suitable shooting position in the playoff game. I'll never forgive the bastard for that.

Think about that, City ground a chance to go a few points clear in the automatic spots, free kick 25 yards out, Pete reduces it is a cheeky five yards, smashes it in top left runs to the lcfc fans with Deeej and co celebrate our road to top flight football!

Whittingham's out of contract in 10 months or whatever. Pretty sure he'll move on so i'd say it's now (inc Jan) or never for a team like us.

He's a Nuneaton lad, same as Matty. I know the family, he's desperate to play Prem football and is disappointed no offers have come so far from the top league, so he wouldn't turn us down.

Isn't this thread somewhat redundant, at least when suggesting that if they sign Bellamy 'x' would be availabledunno.gif

Might be a plan to merge it into the Shopping List thread seeing as it's essentially the same thing. Players we'd like to see here without knowing whether there's any hope of them coming here. :dunno:

Have actually heard a rumour we want Whittingham, but probably bull.

Who wouldn't want him and that lefty! He is definitely a player who would thrive under Sousa and our new passing style! what would happen regarding the 3 forwards then? Whittingham and D.J with Howard or Fyratt upfront?

Whittingham would be a good edition.

However when there are all these rumours about Bellamy signing for Cardiff, my view would be to get in there first, at this level he will score for fun - I would have him as top scorer in the league.
